Why you need it

  • Get ready before you open

In England, Wales and Northern Ireland you must register your food business with your local council at least 28 days before you start trading, and you need food safety procedures based on HACCP from day one.

  • You are the responsible person

As the owner you are responsible for food safety, health and safety and fire safety, including risk assessments. These courses explain what that means in practice.

  • The training doesn't do the paperwork for you

The courses train you; you still need to register, write your food safety system and do your risk assessments. Our free record sheets and food safety pack can help with that.

What's in it

£117 if bought separately · you save £38 £79 for one person

Every course is online and self-paced, with 12 months' access, a final assessment and a certificate in the person's name that anyone can check online. Certificates are issued in English.

For yourself

Buy it with a personal account and you're enrolled on every course straight away. Start any of them from My Courses, in any order.

For your team

Buy one per person with a business account. Each course arrives as seats on your Team page; give a seat to each member of staff, including people without an email address.

Training 3 or more people?

Team membership gives every course to up to 10 staff for £199 a year, which costs less than 3 of these bundles.

Training helps your team do the job safely. It can't guarantee a food hygiene rating: only the council gives the rating.
