On-site training · North West England
Training in person, for councils, charities and schools
A trainer comes to you and teaches your group in person. Each person then sits the assessment online, on a phone or tablet, and gets their own certificate. We cover Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Merseyside, Cheshire and Cumbria.
On-site training is for local authorities, charities and schools. Businesses can train their teams with our online courses.
Who it’s for
Three kinds of organisation
Local authorities
Council-run kitchens, community programmes and staff who handle food as part of their work.
Charities
Food banks, community kitchens, cafés and volunteers who prepare or hand out food.
Schools
School kitchen teams, breakfast and after-school clubs, and staff who serve food to children.
How it works
From enquiry to certificate
- 1
Tell us what you need
Which course, roughly how many people, and where. We reply with a quote and dates.
- 2
The trainer teaches your group
An in-person session at your premises, with time for your team’s own questions about their kitchen and their work.
- 3
Everyone sits the test online
Each person takes the assessment on our website on a phone or tablet. It can be taken in any of our 15 languages. Pass it and their certificate is ready straight away, in English so an inspector can read it.
